Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

this website has been created in loving memory of robert lee hailes a loving son to sara, step son of ricky and cengiz, brother to leah ,grandson of alison ,great grandson of robert and alice ,an adored newhew and cousin ,he was also a well loved friend by many.

robert was born 2nd april 1988 by natural birth ,and developed into a loving care free toddler, robert lived with myself and his nanna who helped me raise robert,  robert loved his nanna dearly, and his uncle lawrence who robert was really fond of,his character grew each day ,and so did his beautie,he had beautiful eyes all the females in my family commented on ,he was very loving ,funny and in general a very placid child ,who got on well with other children ,he continued to grow and he was a very sensitive child and loved anyone who showed him love ,then i met ricky who became roberts step dad and he was very good to robert and played a massive role in his life ,then along came roberts sister when robert was 5years old he was a doting brother and very much loved his baby sister in fact that is what he called her until she was about 3 then she was his annoying sister but he still had time for her and loved her it was just a typical brother sister thing between them, roberts favorite toys were ghostbusters, turtles, wrestlers, terminator figure and gun,his cycles, his favorite childhood films were all the disney classics, oliver twist, the snowman, the land before time.life continued and robert was just getting more handsome, when robert was 12 i married cengiz,he didnt play a father figure to robert but he was very good to him,and they became good friends,he became a teenager loved his mates and spending time with them ,he enjoyed playing on his decks and driving me absolutely bonkers with his tunes belting out,and screaming at him to turn the sound down ,but how i wish i could have him here playing.roberts friends called him bonkon i still havnt got to know quite why ,there was a couple of different stories ,he left school and he got himself a window round,it wasnt much but i thought hey hes doing somthing so i was proud.he then discovered motor bikes and he would buy them, drive them, sell them ,then buy a new bike ,i remember 1 occasion he bought a bike brought it home it was older than him we laughed so much but it was in good condition and was a good runner, then he sold that on and came home with another ,brought it home into my passage way he was messing on and petrol was leaking all over,i had to pull my carpet up the house was absolutely stinking ,he mannaged to fix his bike ,and sell it on ,minus me not having a carpet ,but he always showed willing to try and make a few quid so i thought what the heck ,then he got into cars ,vans you never knew what he was going to bring home next.he was a great tormentor of his sister in a funny way but very annoying to his sister he would often wind her up ,in a humour we shared .robert was also a keen animal lover he liked dogs and cats, his favorite commedy was bottom the movie and would giggle away.robert was 17 nearly turning 18 and he decided he would like to join the army i was so shocked but also very proud,he went along to a local recruting office and filled forms ect then he got and appointment to go back they offered for him to go and a weekend taster course,he went by this time he was 18,he came back full of great enthusiasm,i was so so proud and felt happy that he seemed happy he had found a path to follow, the next stage was to go for a medical and various tests at the doctors he  passed all his tests, and was just waiting for his date and train ticket to go join up to make himself into a grand soldier and that is a sad moment for me cause he never did get to show of himself and get to see him all smart and handsome in his army uniform ,whilst robert was waiting to get his date to go away ,he went out and was messing with solvents  robert had inhaled gas and he died instantly through a disturbance to the rhythm of his heart.on the 12th july 2006 aged 18years.roberts funeral was held at st nicholas church dunston 20th july ,roberts 4 friends carried his coffin barry, martin, dean, and david, robert was burried at garden house swalwell opposite his great granny alice.his cousin tanya did his catering for after his burial, with the help of sadie and her kitchen, family and friends were very supportive my cousin carla ,my life long friend theresa were my rocks and i will be forever grateful ,robert  is greatly missed and will never be forgotten and always loved and will hold a special place in my such saddened heart until we are reunited as it should be mother and her child my precious son robert when we are reunited i hope you my only son are waiting at the gates of heaven for me for that special hug that special smile i long for everyday r.i.p my beautiful child i will love you an eternity and wont ever let you be forgotten i promise xx.
